Pursuant to the law, there are a lot of implications that might occur when spouses did not have a prenuptial agreement. There exist some properties that one might be owned or held separately prior to the marriage, and so a prenuptial agreement can be more advantageous and practical than one might think because it can:

• Ensure the distribution of the conjugal or common property
• Provide support or alimony for the other spouse
• Offer support to the child and other spouse
• Bring in the shares of the children from prior marriages
• Providing support for the dependent children
• Making assignment of the debts to the spouses
